Weekly Book Recap

It's time to share updates from the past week and the upcoming week with . . .

. . . Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer and It's Monday! What are you reading? hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date

I used to participate regularly in both of these memes in the early years of my blog. But as life in general got busier, I found myself cutting way back on my weekly blog posts. This past week, I celebrated Book Club Librarian's eleven year blogaversary and thought it would be fitting to return to Sunday memes. I missed all of you and am happy to be back!

Finished reading . . .

Historical--I read it for my next book club meeting.

Cozy mystery--blog tour reading. My review and giftcard giveaway.

Started reading . . .

Contemporary fiction--got curious after seeing this book everywhere.

Planning to read next . . .

Cozy mystery--I'll be reading it for an upcoming blog tour.

  1. Welcome back, I too have just started back up. I missed blogging also.
    Happy 11 year blogversary

I hope you have a great week, Catherine! Happy Reading!

  2. Welcome back and happy 11th! I'm hoping to be back with my Tuesday meme soon. I just finished Murder by the Seashore and really enjoyed it. Hope you have a great week!

  3. Happy eleven years!!!!!

Socialite's Guide and Murder by the Seashore both look fun. Hope you are well!!!!

  4. Welcome back and happy blogiversary. I'm only slightly older, I turned 13 on September 29, and realizing now I missed the day!!

  5. Happy blogversary! Nice looking books. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  6. Welcome back to Sunday blogging. I limit my posts to once a week too.
Samara Yew's book was a pleasant cozy mystery read.

  7. I find these memes great, although they do tend to add to my TBR list, however its amazing how important bloggers become as we visit every week.

  8. Looks like you've got a lot of great books either just finished up or just starting. The cozy mystery looks great as does Bright Young Women. Have a great week!

  9. Happy 11 years of blogging, Catherine! I am looking forward to reading Murder by the Seashore and hope you enjoy it! The Socialite's Guide to Murder and Dating sounds really good too! I will have to look for that one. I hope you have a great week!

  10. Happy blogoversary! Eleven years is a long time to blog.

And feel free to link up at Sunday Salon any time you like!

  11. I'm so happy to see you (and others in the comments) are coming back to book blogging! I, too, am trying to post more often and participate more in the community again. It seems much harder now, with social media sucking up so much of my time, even as I try to resist it!
This past year in a new position at the library where I work has been the first year that I haven't been a book club librarian in a very long time. I miss it, and have been toying with the idea of starting one back up again.

  12. Happy blogoversary and welcome back! The scarf colors are pretty. I often knit while listening to audiobooks and sometimes watching tv.

Anne - Books of My Heart

  13. This book is the best and very interesting. It looks you spend a lot of time or effort in this blog. I really appreciate your hard work. I hope you will share more updates. Now it's time to avail Chauffeur service uk for more information.
