I haven't read a Wally Lamb book but I heard a good review of his most recent book and it sounded very good.

ReplyDeleteI've started the Wally Lamb book--it's a tough subject matter--but I'm totally absorbed in it. The Last Ferry Out was really twisty to the very end.

ReplyDeleteI recently finished Boat Baby by Vicky Nguyen and The Eights by Joanna Miller – both good reads.
The River is Waiting pulls you right in, so I think it will be worth the wait for the audiobook. Your recently read books sound good.
